SMU Students Visited ecoWise Biomass Power Plant

To demonstrate ecoWise’s effort in social responsibility and sustainability for the environment, we hosted a group of Singapore Management University (SMU)’s students to the biomass tri-generation power plant at Gardens by the Bay on 22th February 2018.

The students were brought on the tour to understand how our biomass plant provides renewable energy to Gardens by the Bay. The group of students not only had the opportunity to go behind the scene to understand how the biomass power plant utilised horticultural waste to generate renewable energy in the form of electricity to the power grid and heat energy to cool the two conservatories but also understood the importance of sustainability and the efforts we put in improving the environment.
