Plant visit by BSI team
A group of delegates from BSI, an ISO auditing and certification Agency, led by Mr Emmanuel Herve, MD of ASEAN, have visited the Tri-generation Biomass Power plant at Gardens by the Bay on 30th January 2024. This visit was conducted after the unveiling of ISO 14068 from BSI which share insights on how we can achieve sustainable success, and strategies for navigating the evolving landscape.
The delegates were introduced by ecoWise Independent Director, Mr Gan Fong Jek and Assistant General Manager, Mr Ajay about the Tri-generation Biomass Power plant. During the visit, the delegates understood how our biomass plant supplied renewable energy in the form of electricity to the Gardens and heat energy to cool the two conservatories by utilising horticultural woods wastes as biomass fuel for the turbo generator.
