Alibaba Group’s visit to ecoWise Biomass Power Plant
As part of information sharing on collaborative efforts between Singapore and China businesses, National University of Singapore (NUS) introduced Alibaba Group, a Global Corporate Partner with NUS, to ecoWise Holdings while they were here for an International Forum (新国大全球论坛) conducted in NUS.
A meeting between two industry pioneers heads in innovation and entrepreneurship, Alibaba’s General Manager, Mr. Liu Bo, visited with ecoWise Group Chairman and CEO, Mr. Lee Thiam Seng at the iconic Gardens by the Bay to observe ecoWise’s Biomass Tri-generation Power Plant on 30 March 2016.
The group, led by Mr. Liu Bo was given a tour by Mr. Lee at the Power Plant to showcase the innovative workings of the biomass power plant. The Power Plant, with its supplication of renewable energy is able to ingeniously power and provide cooling services simultaneously to the Garden’s two conservatives, while continually preserve sustainability kept the group in awe.
To commemorate the ties that have been forged, ecoWise and Alibaba representatives had a photo-taking session together after the tour. During the forum, Mr Liu states that he believes Singapore enterprises have excellent quality and deep understanding of corporate philosophy: an ecosystem where all participants: consumers, merchants, third-party service providers and others – have an opportunity to prosper through collaborative efforts.
Through this information sharing and site visit, ecoWise hopes to contribute social, economic, and environmentally friendly solutions to industrial processes and global stakeholders.
